Rear Seat Cushion Disassembly/Reassembly
Special Tools Required
- KTC Trim Tool Set SOJATP2014
*Available through the Honda Tool and Equipment Program; 888-424-6857
NOTE:
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Take care not to tear or damage the seat covers.
- Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.
1. Remove the rear seat assembly Rear Seat Removal/Installation.
2. Remove the bolts, then separate the rear seat-back (A) and the rear seat cushion (B).
3. Remove the bolts (A, B), then separate the left seat cushion (C) and the right seat cushion (D).
4. Remove the screw. Release the tabs (A) and the hooks (B), then remove the recline outer cover (C).
NOTE: The left seat cushion is shown; the right seat cushion is similar.
5. Remove the screw, then remove the recline inner cover (A).
6. Pull back the rear seat cushion undercover trim (A) to release the hooks (B, C) then remove it.

7. Remove the rear seat cushion undercover (A).
1. Remove the caps (B) with the appropriate trim tool.
2. Remove the screws (C, D).
3. Release the hook strips (E) of the seat cushion cover from the undercover.

8. Remove the rear seat cushion handle Rear Seat Cushion Handle Replacement.
9. Release the hook strips (A) securing the seat cushion cover.
10. Separate the seat cushion frame (A) and the seat cushion cover/pad (B).
11. Reassemble the seat cushion in the reverse order of disassembly, and note these items:
- To prevent wrinkles in the seat cushion cover, stretch the material evenly over the pad.
- Push each cover hooks and tabs into place securely.
