Thermostat Replacement

1. Do the battery removal procedure Removal and Replacement.

2. Drain the engine coolant Testing and Inspection.

3. Remove the thermostat cover (A), then remove the thermostat (B).





4. Install the new thermostat with a new rubber seal (C), then install the thermostat cover.

NOTE: Install the thermostat with the pin (D) as shown.

5. Do the battery installation procedure.

6. Refill the radiator with engine coolant, and bleed the air from the cooling system Service and Repair.

7. Clean up any spilled engine coolant.
