Water Passage Replacement

1. Do the battery removal procedure Removal and Replacement.

2. Drain the engine coolant Testing and Inspection.

3. Disconnect the upper radiator hose (A) and the lower radiator hose (B).





4. Disconnect ECT sensor 1 connector (C) and the EGR valve connector (D).

5. Remove the harness holder mounting bolt (A), then remove the wire harness (B) from the harness holder.






6. Disconnect the water bypass hoses (A) and the heater hoses (B).






7. Remove the EGR pipe.






8. Remove the water passage and related parts.






9. Install the water passage in the reverse order of the removal.

10. Do the battery installation procedure.

11. Refill the radiator with engine coolant, and bleed the air from the cooling system Service and Repair.

12. Clean up any spilled engine coolant.
