Removal and Replacement

ATF Cooler Replacement

1. Remove the front bulkhead cover Front Bulkhead Cover Replacement.

2. Remove the front bumper Service and Repair.

3. Disconnect the ATF cooler hoses (A) from the ATF cooler lines.





4. Remove the splash shield (B), and remove the ATF cooler and cooler hoses assembly (C).

5. Install a new ATF cooler and cooler hoses assembly.

6. Slide the cooler hoses (A) over the ATF cooler lines (B) until the hose ends (C) contact with the bulge (D), and secure the hoses with the clips (E) at 6-8 mm (0.2-0.3 in) (F) from the hose end.





7. Make sure that the hose clamp (G) is installed at the mark (H).

8. Install the splash shield on the bulkhead bracket.

9. Install the bumper Service and Repair.

10. Install the bulkhead cover Front Bulkhead Cover Replacement.
