Vacuum Diaphragm Actuator And Mount Testing:






NOTE: Before testing, clean and oil vacuum diaphragm actuator rod, engine mount rotor, and lever linkage.


1. Disconnect hose (to vacuum diaphragm actuator) at solenoid valve and connect vacuum pump/gauge.
2. Apply vacuum above 230 mmHg and check that rotor valve stroke is a full 80 degrees.
3. If not as specified, and no other problem is detected, replace engine mount assembly.
