REPAIR PROCEDURE A

1. Replace the wire harness assembly.

2. Continue to REPAIR PROCEDURE B.

1. Measure the length of wire between the outer sheath and the compressor clutch and condenser fan motor connectors.

2. Cut two pieces of corrugated plastic tubing (see PARTS INFORMATION) to the lengths measured in step 1.





3. Install the tubing pieces over the wires.





4. Anchor the tubes to the wire harness with 3M electrical tape (See REQUIRED MATERIALS).

5. Reinstall the relays to the bracket with the original nut.





6. Route the wiring for the compressor clutch and the condenser fan motor, then reconnect the connectors.





7. Center-punch a completion mark above the third character of the engine compartment VIN.
