Secondary Gear Shaft Bearing Replacement

TOOL REQUIRED
- 07746-0010400 Driver Attachment, 52x55 mm
- 07749-0010000 Handle Driver





1. Remove the secondary shaft bearing by heating the torque converter housing to 212°F (100°C) with a heat gun, then tap the housing until the bearing falls out.

CAUTION: Do not treat the housing in excess of 212°F (100°C).

2. Install the ATF guide plate.





3. Install the new bearing into the housing using the special tools as shown.
