Wheel Speed Sensor: Description and Operation
WHEEL SPEED SENSORThe speed sensor is a non-contact type which detects the rotating speeds of the wheel. It is composed of a permanent magnet and coil. When the gear pulsers at each wheel turn, the magnetic coil in the speed sensor alternates, generating voltages with frequency in proportion to wheel rotating speed.
