Removal

Ensure dirt or other foreign matter is not allowed to contaminate brake fluid. Do not mix different types of brake fluid, as they might not be compatible.

Fig. 2 Front Pin Siding Disc Brake Caliper:

1. Refer to Fig. 2 when replacing calipers.
2. Raise and support front of vehicle, then remove wheel and tire assemblies.

3. Remove banjo bolt and disconnect brake hose from caliper, Fig. 11.
4. Remove caliper bolts, then the caliper.
