Mirror Holder Removal

NOTE:
- Take care not to scratch the mirror housing.
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts to prevent damage.




1. Insert a flat-tip screwdriver from the upper portion of the mirror holder opening. With a flat-tip screwdriver, detach the pivot (A) by prying on the mirror holder (B), and release the snap rings (C) from the joint pin receptacles (D).




2. With a flat-tip screwdriver, detach the joint pins (A) by prying on the mirror holder (B), then remove the mirror holder.
3. Remove the remaining snap rings from inside the mirror housing.
