Oil Pump Clearance Inspection1. Measure the radial clearance between the inner rotor (A) and the outer rotor (B). If the clearance exceeds the service limit, replace the pump rotor.
2. Measure the radial clearance between the out or rotor (B) and the transmission housing (C). If the clearance exceeds the service limit, replace the pump rotor.
3. Measure the axial clearance on the pump rotor. If the clearance exceeds the standard, select the appropriate rotor for the correct clearance from the chart as shown.
