Shift Arm Clearance Inspection





1. Measure the clearance between the shift arm (A) and shift piece (B) with a feeler gauge (C). If the clearance exceeds the service limit, go to step 2.





2. Measure the diameter of the shift piece.
^ If the diameter is not within the standard, replace the shift piece.
^ If the diameter is within the standard, replace the shift arm.
