Center Console Removal/InstallationSpecial Tools Required
KTC trim tool set SOJATP2014 *
* Available through the American Honda Tool and Equipment Program
NOTE:
- Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.
- Take care not to scratch the front seat, dashboard, and related parts.
1. Remove the parking brake cover lid (A).
2. M/T model: Remove the shift knob.
3. Remove the center console (A):
1. Remove the screws (B), and clips (C).
2. Lift the rear of the console up to detach the clip (D), and pull the console rearward to release the front hook (E) from the heater unit.
3. Disconnect the accessory socket connector (F), and if equipped, auxiliary jack connector (G).
4. Install the console in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
- Check for damaged or stress-whitened clips, and if necessary, replace them with new ones.
- Make sure the wire harness is not pinched.
- Make sure each connector is plugged in properly.
- Set the rib (H) under the pocket onto the parking brake lever bracket (I) correctly.
