Horn Switch Test
Horn Switch Test1. Remove the steering column upper and lower cover.
2. Disconnect the dashboard wire harness B 4P connector (A) from the cable reel (B).
3. Check for continuity between the cable reel No. 2 terminal and body ground in each switch position according to the table.
- If there is continuity, the horn switch is OK.
- If there is no continuity, Go to step 4.
4. Remove the driver's airbag.
5. Check for continuity between the cable reel No. 2 terminal (A) and the horn switch positive terminal (B).
- If there is no continuity, replace the cable reel '00-05 models; '06-07 models and check for proper operation.
- If there is continuity, replace the horn switch.
