Fuel Fill Door Replacement

1. Open the fuel fill door.




2. Install three obtainable 4 x 12 mm tapping screws (A) into holes in the fuel fill door hinge arm (B). Lightly screw them in to disengage the stiffener (C) from the inside of the hinge arm.




3. By hand, screw off the fuel fill door (A) from the fuel fill door hinge arm (B) while releasing the four hooks (C).
4. Remove all of the screws (D) from the fuel fill door hinge arm.
5. If the removed fuel fill door is to be reinstalled, repair deformed portions in the stiffener on which you pressed with tapping screws.




6. Position the fuel fill door (A) over the fuel fill door hinge arm (B) with the alignment mark (C) on the door aligned with the unlock mark (D) on the hinge arm, then turn the door counterclockwise until the stiffener snaps into place securely. Be sure the alignment mark on the door is aligned with the lock mark (E) on the hinge arm.
