Front Seat
Front Seat Removal/InstallationSpecial Tools Required
- Seat belt disassembly tool 07AAF-SNAA150
- KTC trim tool set SOJATP2014 *

Driver's Seat
NOTE:
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Take care not to scratch the body or tear the seat covers.
- Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.
1. Make sure you have the anti-theft code for the audio system, then write down the audio presets.
2. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery, and wait at least 3 minutes before beginning work.
3. Remove the front inner seat track end cover (A) and front outer seat track end cover (B) from the front of both seat tracks.
4. Remove the rear inner seat track end cover (A) and rear outer seat track end cover (B) from the back of both seat tracks.
5. Remove the bolts securing the front seat (A).
6. Lift up the front seat, then detach the harness clips (A), and disconnect the side airbag connector (B), the seat belt switch connector (C) and the seat position sensor connector (D).
7. Remove the head restraint.
8. With the help of an assistant, carefully remove the front seat through the front door opening.
9. Install the seat in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
- Apply medium strength type liquid thread lock to the seat mounting bolts before reinstallation.
- Tighten the seat mounting bolts to the specified torque in the sequence shown. Slide the seat all the way back and tighten (1) and (2), then slide it forward and tighten (3) and (4).
- Route the floor wire harness (A) between the seat cushion frame and the slide cable (B) before fixing its clips to the frame.
- Make sure each connector is plugged in properly.
- Tighten the bolts by hand first, then tighten them to specification with a torque wrench.
- Reconnect the negative cable to the battery.
- Enter the anti-theft code for the audio system, then enter the audio presets.
- Set the clock.
- Check for any DTCs that may have been set during repairs, and clear them.
Passenger's Seat
NOTE:
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Take care not to scratch the body or tear the seat covers.
- Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.
1. Make sure you have the anti-theft code for the audio system, then write down the audio presets.
2. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery, and wait at least 3 minutes before beginning work.
3. Slide the front seat forward fully.
4. Slowly insert the seat belt disassembly tool plate into holes (A) in the back of the lap connector cover (B).
NOTE: Make sure the seat belt disassembly tool plate is perpendicular to the lap connector cover.
5. With the seat belt disassembly tool plate still inserted in the lap connector cover (A), carefully insert the seat belt disassembly tool pin into the hole in the lap connector cover, and unlock the lap connector by pushing in on the pin.
6. While pulling the front seat belt (A) upward, remove the seat belt disassembly tool pin. As soon as you remove the pin from the lap connector (B), the anchor connector (C) will come off the lap connector.
7. Remove the front inner seat track end cover (A) and front outer seat track end cover (B) from the front of both seat tracks.
8. Remove the rear inner seat track end cover (A) and rear outer seat track end cover (B) from the back of both seat tracks.
9. Remove the bolts securing the front seat (A).
10. Lift up the front seat, then detach the harness clips (A), and disconnect the side airbag connector (B), the seat belt switch connector (C), the seat belt outer lap tensioner connector (D), and the ODS subharness connector (E).
11. Remove the head restraint.
12. With the help of an assistant, carefully remove the front seat through the front door opening.
13. Install the seat in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
- Apply medium strength type liquid thread lock to the seat mounting bolts before reinstallation.
- Tighten the seat mounting bolts to the specified torque in the sequence shown. Slide the seat all the way back and tighten (1) and (2), then slide it forward and tighten (3) and (4).
- Route the floor wire harness (A) between the seat cushion frame and the slide cable (B) before fixing its clips to the frame.
- Make sure each connector is plugged in properly.
- Tighten the bolts by hand first, then tighten them to specification with a torque wrench.
- Reconnect the negative cable to the battery.
- Before reconnecting the lap connector, make sure there are no twists or kinks in the seat belt.
- Enter the anti-theft code for the audio system, then enter the audio presets.
- Set the clock.
- Check for any DTCs that may have been set during repairs, and clear them.
