General Specifications

Cylinder Head

Torque 29 Nm (3.0 kgf-m, 22 ft. lbs.)





Tighten bolts in two steps (90° per step).
Tighten new bolts an extra 90°.

Torque 8 mm bolts (A) 22 Nm (2.2 kgf-m, 16 ft. lbs.)

Measure the diameter of each cylinder head bolt at point A and point B. If either diameter is less than 11.5 mm (0.45 inch), replace the cylinder head bolt.





Surface Variation

Warpage less than 0.05 mm (0.002 inch) no resurfacing

Warpage between 0.05 mm (0.002 inch) & 0.2 mm (0.008 inch) resurface

Max. resurface limit 0.2 mm (0.008 inch)
Based on a height of 105 mm (4.13 inch).

Torque 22 Nm (2.2 kgf-m, 16 ft. lbs.)

Tighten the bolts two turns at a time, in the sequence shown.
