Set Speed Does Not Resume When the Resume/Accel Switch Is Pressed (Temporarily Canceled By Pressing Brake Pedal)

Set speed does not resume when the resume/accel switch is pressed (with the cruise control main switch turned on, and set speed temporarily canceled by pressing the brake pedal)

Diagnostic Procedure:

1. Check for PGM-FI DTCs. Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview

2. Check the brake pedal position switch adjustment. Adjustments

3. Do the cruise control combination switch test. Cruise Control Combination Switch Test/Replacement

4. Do the cruise control input test. Cruise Control Input Test Test the cruise control resume/accel switch signal input. Test the brake pedal position switch signal input.

Also check for:

- Faulty brake pedal position switch
- Open circuit, loose or disconnected terminals: LT BLU, GRY wire
