- Check and/or replace the MTF. MTF Inspection and Replacement
- Check the detent ball springs. Manual Transmission Disassembly
- Check the teeth of the synchro rings and the gears. Synchro Ring and Gear Inspection
- Check for bent, deform, or damage of the shift forks.
