Torque Converter Housing Countershaft Bearing Replacement

Special Tools Required

- Adjustable bearing puller, 20-40 mm 07736-A01000B or 07736-A01000A
- Driver handle, 15 x 135L 07749-0010000
- Oil seal driver attachment 07JAD-PH80101
1. Remove the countershaft bearing using the adjustable bearing puller (20-40 mm) and a commercially available 3/8 ''-16 slide hammer (A).






2. Install the ATF guide plate (A).

3. Install the new countershaft bearing (B) in the housing using the driver handle and the attachment (62 x 68 mm); install the bearing outer race surface in height (C) of 0-0.03 mm (0-0.001 in.) above the housing surface (D). Do not install the bearing exceeding 0.03 mm (0.001 in.) high from housing surface.
