Door Weatherstrip Replacement

NOTE:

- Take care not to scratch the door.

- Use a clip remover to remove the clips.

1. Remove the door panel. Service and Repair

2. Remove the door weatherstrip as shown.

3. Install the weatherstrip in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
- If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.

- Push the clips into place securely.

- If the old weatherstrip will be reinstalled, scrape off all traces of old EPT sealer and butyl tape, then clean the weatherstrip surface with isopropyl alcohol.

- Attach the new weatherstrip using EPT sealer and butyl tape.

- Check for water leaks. Adjustments

- Test-drive, and check for wind noise and rattles.
