Hissing From The Power Steering System/Foaming Fluid (Without EPS)

Hissing from the power steering system/foaming fluid

Diagnostic Procedure:

1. Check the fluid level If low, fill the reservoir to the proper level, and check for leaks. Power Steering Fluid Leakage Inspection (Without EPS)

2. Check the reservoir for leaks.

3. Check for crushed inlet hose or loose hose clamp allowing air into the suction side of the system. Service and Repair

4. Check the power steering pump shaft oil seal for leaks.

Also check for:

- Air in the P/S fluid
- Fluid contamination
