Trunk Lid Spoiler Replacement

4-door (Except Si model) - For Some '08-11 Models

NOTE:

- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Take care not to scratch the trunk lid.

1. For some models: Remove the trunk lid trim Interior Trim Removal/Installation - Trunk Lid (4-Door).

2. Remove the nuts from inside the trunk lid.






3. Detach the clips (A, B) by pushing them through the holes in the trunk lid from the inside. Carefully insert a trim tool next to the side clips (C), and detach the clips by prying on the spoiler (D).






4. Close the trunk lid. Pull up the trunk lid spoiler (A) to release the clips from the trunk lid, then remove the spoiler.





5. Install the spoiler in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

- If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.
- Push the clips into place securely.

4-door (Si model)

NOTE:

- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Take care not to scratch the trunk lid.

1. Open the trunk lid, and remove the nuts and the bolts from inside the trunk lid.






2. Push out the clips from inside the trunk lid.






3. Close the trunk lid. While lifting up the trunk lid spoiler (A), disconnect the high mount brake light terminals (B) from the trunk lid spoiler subharness (C), then remove the spoiler.





4. Install the spoiler in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

- If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.
- Make sure the high mount brake light terminals are plugged in properly.
- Push the clips into place securely.
