A/T Clutch Pressure Control Solenoid Valve A Replacement

1. Remove the intake air duct.

2. Disconnect the A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valve A connector.

3. With ATF warmer: Remove the bolts (A) securing the ATF warmer (B), and move it out of the way.

NOTE: Be careful not to damage the pipes and fin part of the ATF warmer when moving it.






4. With ATF warmer: Remove A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valve A.





5. With ATF warmer: Remove the ATF pipe (B), the ATF joint pipes (C), the O-rings (D), and the gasket (E).

6. Without ATF warmer: Remove the bolts securing the ATF line brackets (B), then remove A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valve A.





7. Without ATF warmer: Remove the ATF pipe (C), the ATF joint pipes (D), the O-rings (E), and the gasket (F).

8. Clean the mounting surface and the fluid passages of the transmission housing.

9. Install a new gasket on the transmission housing, and install the ATF pipe and the ATF joint pipes. Install new O-rings over the ATF joint pipes.

NOTE: Be sure to install a new gasket with the blue side toward the transmission housing.

10. Install A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valve A.

11. With ATF warmer: Install the ATF warmer.

12. Without ATF warmer: Secure the ATF line brackets with the bolts.

13. Check the connector for corrosion, dirt, or oil, and clean or repair if necessary, then connect the connector securely.

14. Install the intake air duct.
