3. Align the bolt hole (A) on the steering joint with the groove (B) around the pinion shaft.

4. Loosely install the steering joint bolt (C).

5. Be sure that the joint bolt is securely in the groove in the pinion shaft.

6. Pull on the steering joint to make sure that the steering joint is fully seated.

19. Steering Joint Cover

1. Install the steering joint cover (A) in the sequence shown.

20. Side Engine Mount - Tighten

1. Tighten the side engine mount bracket mounting bolt and nut.

21. Transmission Mount Bracket Mounting Bolt - Tighten (M/T)

1. Tighten the transmission mount bracket mounting bolt and nuts (A).

22. Transmission Mount Bracket Mounting Bolt - Tighten (A/T)

1. Tighten the transmission mount bracket mounting bolt and nuts (A).

23. Raise The Vehicle On The Lift

1. Raise the vehicle on the lift.

24. Lower Torque Rod - Tighten

2. Tighten the lower torque rod mounting bolts in the numbered sequence shown.

25. Driveshaft Front Both - Reconnection Inboard Side

1. Left driveshaft: Install a new set ring (A) into the set ring groove (B) of the driveshaft.

2. Left driveshaft: Clean the areas where the driveshaft contacts the differential thoroughly with solvent.

NOTE: Do not wash the rubber parts with solvent.

3. Left driveshaft: Dry them with compressed air.

4. Left driveshaft: Insert the inboard end (C) of the driveshaft into the differential (D) until the set ring (E) locks in the groove (F).

NOTE: Insert the driveshaft horizontally to prevent damaging the oil seal.
