Trunk Lid Release Actuator Test

Removal

1. Trunk Lid Trim Panel





1. Remove the trunk lid trim panel (A).

Test

1. Trunk Lid Release Actuator - Test









1. Disconnect the connector.

2. Check the actuator operation by connecting power and ground according to the table.

NOTE: To prevent damage to the actuator, apply battery voltage only momentarily.

3. If the actuator does not work, the trunk lid latch switch/trunk release actuator is faulty; replace the trunk lid latch (A).

1. Install the trunk lid trim panel (A).
