Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Removal and Installation
Removal
1. Vehicle Lift
1. Raise the vehicle on a lift, and make sure it is securely supported.
2. Rear Wheel
1. Remove the rear wheel.
3. Rear Wheel Speed Sensor
1. Disconnect the connector (A).
Disc brake
Drum brake
2. Left side: Carefully remove the connector from the clamp (B).
NOTE: The connector is securely attached to the clamp, and the clamp may break when you remove the connector.
3. Remove the clips (C).
4. Remove the wheel speed sensor (D).
Installation
1. Rear Wheel Speed Sensor
1. Install the wheel speed sensor (A).
NOTE:
* Do not twist the sensor wires.
* If the wheel speed sensor comes in contact with the hub bearing unit, it is faulty.
* Make sure there is no debris in the sensor mounting hole.

2. Install the clips (B).
3. Left side: Install the connector to the clamp (C).
4. Connect the connector (D).
2. Rear Wheel
1. Install the rear wheel.
NOTE: Before installing the wheel, clean the mating surfaces between the brake disc or the brake drum and the inside of the wheel.
