Tailgate Latch Switch Test

1. Remove the tailgate lower trim panel .

2. Disconnect the 4P connector (A) from the tailgate latch assembly (B).






3. Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table.





4. If the continuity is not as specified, faulty tailgate latch switch; replace the tailgate latch Service and Repair.
