Grille Replacement

NOTE:

- Take care not to scratch the front bumper.
- When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape to prevent damage.

1. Remove the front bumper Service and Repair.

2. Remove the grille (A).

1. Remove the screws and detach the clips.

2. Release the hooks (B), the projection (C), and the ribs (D) from the front bumper (E).

NOTE: To release the clips, pry up on the center pin at the notch (F).





3. Install the grille in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

- If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.
- Push the clips and the hooks into place securely.

Molding Replacement

NOTE:

- Take care not to scratch the front grille base.
- When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape to prevent damage.

1. Remove the grille.

2. Remove the screws. Pry up the hooks (A) (14 places) with a flat-tip screwdriver, and release the tab (B), then remove the front grille molding (C), the upper front grille moldings (D), the center front grille moldings (E), and the lower front grille molding (F) from the front grille base (G).





3. If necessary, pull out the front grille reinforcement (H) to release it from the clips of the front grille base, then remove the reinforcement.

4. If necessary, remove the screw and release the hooks (A), then remove the front emblem base (B) from the front grille base (C).






5. Install the moldings in the reverse order of removal, and push the clips and the hooks into place securely.
