Interior Trim Removal/Installation - Cargo Area
Special Tools Required
- KTC Trim Tool Set SOJATP2014

Cargo Area Trim
NOTE:
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Take care not to bend or scratch the trim or the panel.
- Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.
1. Remove the floor side cover (A).
2. Remove the rear floor cover (A).
3. Remove the cargo box (A).
4. Remove the cargo side tray (A).
1. Pry up the lid (B) to release the hooks (C).
2. Remove the bolt.
3. Pull up the rear edge of the tray to detach the clips.
5. Remove the tailgate weatherstrip as needed Service and Repair.
6. Remove the rear trim panel (A).
1. Detach the clips (B).
2. Release the hooks (C) and the tabs (D) from both cargo area side trim panels (E).
3. Pull up the panel by hand to detach the clips (F).
7. Remove the front floor cover (A).
1. Pry out the covers (B), and remove the screws (C), then remove the cargo hooks (D) (two places).
2. Pull up the front edge of the floor cover by hand to detach the clips.
8. Remove the bolts (A, B), then remove the rear cargo support (C).
9. Remove the tool box spacer (A).
10. Detach the clips, then remove the spare tire pan carpet (A).
11. Detach the clips, then remove the rear floor spacer (A).
12. Install the trim in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
- If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.
- Push the clips, the hooks, and the tabs into place securely.
Rear Floor Cover Handle
1. Remove the rear floor cover.
2. Remove the rear floor cover handle (A).
1. While lifting the handle lever (B), remove the screws.
2. Release the hooks (C).
3. Install the handle in the reverse order of removal, and push the hooks into place securely.
