Door Lock Knob Switch Test

Driver's Door

1. Remove the driver's door panel Front Door Panel Removal / Installation.

2. Disconnect the 10P connector (A) from the door lock actuator (B).






3. Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table.





4. If the continuity is not as specified, the door lock knob switch is faulty; replace the door latch Service and Repair.

Passenger's Doors

1. Remove the passenger's door panel:

- Front passenger's door
- Left and right rear doors

2. Disconnect the 10P connector (A) from the door lock actuator (B).

NOTE: The illustration shows the front passenger's door






3. Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table.





[ ]: Left rear door

4. If the continuity is not specified, the door lock knob switch is faulty; replace the door latch:

- Front passenger's door latch Service and Repair.
- Left and right rear door latch Service and Repair.
