Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the non-functional air inlet caps. Refer toAir Inlet Grille Panel Replacement - Non Functional (Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement - Non Functional) .
2. Remove the wiper arms. Refer toWiper Arm Replacement in Wipers/Washer Systems.
3. Disconnect the wiper hose connection (1).
4. Using a flat-bladed tool, remove the push-in retainers (2).
5. Remove the side fasteners.
6. Using a flat-bladed tool, release the 4 retainers (3) securing the air inlet grille to the vehicle.
7. Remove the air inlet grille from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
1. Align the air inlet grille to the vehicle, and secure grille by ensuring all 4 retainers (3) are properly seated.
2. Connect the washer hose connection (1).
3. Install the push-in retainers.
Notice: Refer toFastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
4. Install the side fasteners.
Tighten the fasteners to 2.5 Nm (22 lb in).
5. Install the wiper arms. Refer toWiper Arm Replacement in Wipers/Washer Systems.
6. Install the non-functional air inlet caps. Refer toAir Inlet Grille Panel Replacement - Non Functional (Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement - Non Functional) .
