Lock Striker Replacement - Liftgate

Removal Procedure

1. Open the liftgate.
2. Remove the liftgate door sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement - Liftgate (Door Sill Plate Replacement - Liftgate) in Interior Trim.
3. Mark the location of the striker with a grease pencil.




4. Remove fasteners from the striker (1).
Important: Using a grease pencil, mark the strikers location prior to removal.



5. Remove the striker and shims, if equipped, from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Position the striker, to the location marks.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the fasteners (1) to the striker.

Tighten fasteners to 25 Nm (18 lb ft).

3. Install the liftgate door sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement - Liftgate (Door Sill Plate Replacement - Liftgate) in Interior Trim.
