Trim Panel Replacement - Left Body Side

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the spare tire carrier. Refer to Spare Tire Carrier Replacement (SUV) Spare Tire Carrier Replacement (SUT) in Tires and Wheels.
2. Remove the lock pillar trim panel. Refer to Trim Replacement - Lock Pillar (Trim Replacement - Lock Pillar) .
3. Remove the lift gate sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement - Liftgate (Door Sill Plate Replacement - Liftgate) .
4. Remove the rear pillar garnish panel. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Rear Upper (Garnish Molding Replacement - Rear Upper) .
5. Firmly grasp the front edge of the left body side panel and gently pull to disengage the retaining clips.
6. Remove the left body side panel from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the left body side panel to the vehicle.
2. Align the retaining clips with the opening in the body and gently press to fully seat the retaining clips.
3. Install the rear pillar garnish panel. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Rear Upper (Garnish Molding Replacement - Rear Upper) .
4. Install the lift gate sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement - Liftgate (Door Sill Plate Replacement - Liftgate) .
5. Install the lock pillar trim panel. Refer to Trim Replacement - Lock Pillar (Trim Replacement - Lock Pillar) .
6. Install the spare tire carrier. Refer to Spare Tire Carrier Replacement (SUV) Spare Tire Carrier Replacement (SUT) in Tires and Wheels.
