Sunroof / Moonroof Motor: Service and Repair

POWER SUNROOF MOTOR REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the headliner.
2. Disconnect the sunroof motor electrical connector.
3. Remove the bolts from the motor.
4. Remove the motor from the sunroof module.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the motor to the sunroof module.
2. Install the bolts to the motor.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten the bolts to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

3. Connect the electrical connector.
4. Install the headliner.
