Window Regulator Replacement - Midgate

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the midgate inner panel. Refer to Midgate Panel Replacement - Inner () .
2. Remove the midgate window. Refer to Window Replacement - Midgate (Service and Repair) .
3. Remove the nuts retaining the window regulator to the midgate.
4. Slide the window regulator assembly to one side of the structure.




5. Disconnect the midgate window regulator electrical connector.
6. Remove the regulator from the midgate. A slight twisting motion is required for removal.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the window regulator to the midgate.
2. Connect the window regulator electrical connector (1).





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

3. Install the nuts retaining the window regulator to the midgate.

Tighten the window regulator nuts to 25 Nm (18 lb ft).

4. Install the midgate window. Refer to Window Replacement - Midgate (Service and Repair) .
5. Inspect and adjust the midgate window alignment to the weatherstrip channel. Refer to Window Replacement - Midgate (Service and Repair) .
6. Install the midgate inner panel. Refer to Midgate Panel Replacement - Inner () .
