Exhaust Manifold: Service and Repair

COMPONENTS

DISASSEMBLY





1. Remove the exhaust manifold heat protector.
2. Remove the exhaust manifold assay from cylinder-head.
3. Remove the exhaust manifold gasket.

INSPECTION
Exhaust Manifold
Check for damage or cracking.

REASSEMBLY
Install the exhaust manifold in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION: Replace the exhaust manifold gasket and lock nut at the time of reassembling.
