P0132 HO2S Circuit High Input(Bank 1 / Sensor 1) - W/Harness Inspection

Terminal and Connector Inspection

1. Many malfunctions in the electrical system are caused by poor harness(es) and terminals. Faults can also be caused by in terference from other electrical systems, and mechanical or chemical damage.
2. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
3. Has a problem been found?
YES
> Repair as necessary and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
NO
> Go to "Control Circuit Inspection" procedure

Control Circuit Inspection

1. Ignition "OFF".
2. Disconnect HO2S and PCM connector
3. Ignition "ON" & Engine "OFF"
4. Measure voltage between terminal 1 of the sensor harness connector and chassis ground
5. Measure voltage between terminal 2 of the sensor harness connector and chassis ground
6. Measure voltage between terminal 3 of the sensor harness connector and chassis ground
7. Measure voltage between terminal 4 of the sensor harness connector and chassis ground
Specification : Approx. 0V




8. Is HO2S display near the specification?
YES
> Go to "Component Inspection" procedure.
NO
> Repair as necessary and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure
