EVAPORATIVE & ORVR EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM




1. Prepare a voltmeter and connect it to FTP pins as shown.




2. After 20 mm. idling , inspect the voltage.
System voltage: 5 V
At acceleration: Max. 4.5, Min. 0.5 V

3. At idle, make sure that voltage changes as rpm changes.

NOTE: If voltage is not within specification, there is a leak. Inspect the fuel tank and hoses toward canister and fuel neck. Then repair or replace relevant parts.
