Sunroof / Moonroof Motor: Testing and Inspection

SUN ROOF MOTOR




1. Remove the overhead console.
2. Disconnect the motor connector from the sun roof harness.
3. After applying 12 V DC to terminal 8, connect terminal 3 to ground.
4. Check that the motor turns in the direction of the sun roof when tilted down and is open.




5. Reverse the connections and check that the motor turns in the direction when the sun roof is closed and tilted up.
