TIGHTENING TORQUE

Cylinder Head Bolt Sequence:

Cylinder head cover bolt 5 - 6 Nm (3.6 - 4.3 ft. lbs.)

1 ) Tighten all bolts temporarily to half of the specified torque in the sequence 1.2.3.4.5.6.7.8
2) Retighten all bolts to the specified torque.

25 Nm + (58 - 62°) + (43 - 47°)
18 ft. lbs. + (58 - 62°) + (43 - 47°)

Air intake surge tank to intake manifold (bolt) 15 - 20 Nm (11 - 14 ft. lbs.)

Air intake surge tank to intake manifold (nut) 15 - 20 Nm (11 - 14 ft. lbs.)

Intake manifold to cylinder head 19 - 21 Nm (14 - 15 ft. lbs.)

Heat protector to exhaust manifold 12 - 15 Nm (9 - 11 ft. lbs.)

Exhaust manifold to cylinder head (self locking nut) 25 - 30 Nm (18 - 22 ft. lbs.)

Oxygen sensor to exhaust manifold 40 - 50 Nm (29 - 36 ft. lbs.)

Front exhaust pipe to exhaust manifold nut 30 - 40 Nm (22 - 29 ft. lbs.)

Fuel hose clamp to rear cylinder head assembly 12 - 15 Nm (9 - 11 ft. lbs.)

Throttle body to surge tank bolt 15 - 20 Nm (11 - 14 ft. lbs.)
