ALARM HORN CHANGE
DESCRIPTION:
Beginning with January 2, 2009 production vehicles, the theft alarm horn has been integrated with the vehicle horn located at the rear side of the radiator grille. The number of horns has been changed from 2 to 1.
This bulletin provides the revised Electrical Troubleshooting Manual (ETM) pages reflecting the change in the 2009 Accent alarm horn. Please write this TSB number at the bottom of pages SD-814-1 and SD-968-1 of the 2009 Accent ETM for future reference. The ETM pages in the hmaservice.com website have been updated to reflect the change.
VEHICLES AFFECTED:
2009 Accent produced beginning January 2, 2009.
PARTS INFORMATION:
To support the change, the internal logic and part number of the vehicle's Body Control Module (BCM) has also been modified.
