EPS Type recognition
1. Connect scantool to Data Link Connector (DLC)
2. Ignition "OFF" and then Ignition "ON".
3. Monitor the "EPS TYPE RECOGNITION" parameters on the Scantool (figure 1).
4. Choose the area type (figure 2).
5. Ignition "OFF" & Waiting 20 sec.
6. Ignition "ON".
7. Select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)" mode again.
8. Are any DTCs present ?
