ECM UPDATE - MIL ON WITH DTC P0140, P0128, P0461 OR P0442

DESCRIPTION:

This bulletin provides the procedure to update the Engine Control Modules (ECM) of some 2007-2010 ACCENT (MC) vehicles which may experience the following conditions.

^ 2007-2008 ACCENT

^ DTC P0128 (Coolant Thermostat - Coolant Temp. Below Thermostat Regulating Temperature)

^ 2007-2009 ACCENT

^ Rough Engine Idle (with no other contributing mechanical conditions)

^ 2007-2010 ACCENT with

^ DTC P0140 (Bank1 Sensor 2 - O2 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected)

^ DTC P0461 (Fuel Level Sensor "A" Circuit Range/Performance)

^ DTC P0442 (Evaporative Emission System - Small Leak detected)

NOTE:
There are no vehicle performance issues associated with this condition.

NOTE:
To verify the vehicle is affected, be sure to check the version of the vehicle's engine control unit ROM ID with reference to the ROM ID Information Table shown above before attempting to update the control unit software.
