DESCRIPTION:

Some Genesis Coupe 3.8L vehicles may automatically downshift if the throttle is depressed when driving in 3rd gear Sports Mode.

This TSB provides the procedure to update the Transmission Control Module to prevent downshifting in 3rd gear when driving in Sports Mode.

APPLICABLE VEHICLES:
Model: 2010 - Genesis 3.8L V6 vehicles.

Applicable vehicle production date:
From beginning of production to June 20, 2009.

Verify the version of the TCM ROM ID before attempting to update the software.
