Engine Control - P0624 Fuel Cap Lamp Control Circuit - Component Inspection

Component Inspection

1. IG "OFF".
2. Disconnect PCM harness connector.
3. Short terminal 7/C01-2 (94/C01) of PCM (ECM) harness connector to ground.
A. Specification : Fuel filler cap lamp ON.












4. Is the Fuel filler cap warning lamp turned on normally?
YES
1) Substitute with a known - good PCM and check for proper operation.
If the problem is corrected, replace PCM and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
NO
1) Substitute with a known - good instrument cluster and check for proper operation.
If the problem is corrected, replace instrument cluster and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair" procedure.
