Component Inspection

Check torque sensor
1. Ignition "OFF".
2. Connect Scantool to Data Link Connector(DLC).
3. Engine "ON " and select "SCOPEMETER FUNCTION" on scantool.
4. Operate the steering wheel to the left and right.
5. Measure output signal between terminal Main & sub sensor harness connector and chassis ground.
6. Measure output signal between terminal "4"of sensor harness connector and chassis ground.

7. Is torque sensor main and sub signal within specifications?
