Cluster Module
B100855 MDPS Present Error - General Information
Component Location
General Description
Cluster memorizes what kinds of control unit are installed on through the CAN-BUS. Vehicle Optional information is memorized in cluster by EOL Coding procedure in the End of Line. DTC will be set if the optional information is different when comparied between memorized optional information from CAN-BUS and optional information sent by EOL. In the assembly line, EOL communication will be finished in case that DTC is not set during DTC searching.
In service field, it is necessary to set cluster by using variant coding procedure with GDS in order to syncronize the opitional parts on the vehicle after replacing cluster.

DTC Description
This DTC is set when variant coding is incorrectly performed as if MDPS option is not installed on the vehicle even though real vehicle has MDPS on the CAN BUS.
