General Description

In order to make normal activation of airbag system, SRSCM detects DTC(s) for the Passenger side Body Detection System.
If the seat is accupied, Bodysense sensor detects how passenger weighs and send signal to ACU via CAN.
ACU rcognizes the signal as 3(three) different classifications; that is, 0(Empty), 1(Small), 2(Large).
With these signal, ACU determines whether it needs to deploy PAB(Passenger Airbag) or not.

DTC Description

The PODS-F ECU sets DTC B1101 and turns Airbag warning light on if voltage above threshold value is detected.
