P0611 Fuel Injector Control Module Performance - General Information

General Description

The IDB(injector driver box) controls injector operation. If the IDB receives signal for injector operation from PCM, IDB boosts the voltage and uses current by voltage difference between HIGH and LOW side of injector circuit as injector operating current.

DTC Description

If the IDB detects boost voltage circuit malfunction, the IDB sends error message to PCM. The PCM sets a P0611 DTC when it receives error message from the IDB.

DTC Detecting Condition
